(About the role)

Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager this role will be responsible for leading and coordinating the management of a wide range of events from senior corporate and partnering events, to reputation and brand building events, to working with internal stakeholders on internal events.

You will lead a small team of 2 Co-ordinators who will assist you in delivering up to 200 events nationally which can range from small seminars with 50 attendees to national conferences with 400 attendees.

(Principal Responsibilities)

Overall responsibility for implementing an annual events strategy and calendar

Management and full delivery of events, from pre to post event activities

Hands on attendance at local events to ensure that they are seamless

Creation & maintenance of event campaigns, mailings and website posts

Collating data for reports to ensure ROI

To assist other members of the team and work alongside the projects and product development teams to ensure smooth delivery

Organise company speakers for third party events

Sponsorship and Venue negotiation

(Skills & Experience)

To be successful in this position, you will have:
Ideally completion of a relevant degree in events or communications or similar

A range of management experience in event planning within a corporate environment

Demonstrated management and leadership skills

Proven organisational skills, including event, project and budget management; a demonstrated capacity to work to tight deadlines, and work independently and as part of collaborative projects

Experience in negotiating venue and sponsorship rates
