Our client is a world-renowned Think Tank headquartered in London who boast an impressive list of over 1,000 clients, including the likes of Facebook, Google, Nike to name but a few.

They deliver a unique and game-changing service to their clients providing thought provoking and invaluable advice around innovation strategy and brand.

To support their clients in Australia and the wider AsiaPac region they have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Director to drive and develop sustainable growth for their portfolio of brands identifying new sales opportunities through market analysis.

You’ll join a passionate team of innovators, bringing together diverse skills from consulting, startup ecosystems, entrepreneurship and emerging technology.


Key responsibilities:

A key part of your role will be managing and growing a portfolio of existing clients using a consultative sales approach whilst leading the development and execution of account plans to convert new prospects.

You’ll devise and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve your sales targets whilst providing a strategic link between the client and delivery teams.

By consulting with the client you’ll identify the opportunity and help shape the solution through high impact proposals, working with the Strategy, Client Service and Project Management teams to ensure the final deliverable meets the brief and clients expectations.

A large part of this role will involve client pitch work where you will present solutions face to face leveraging past case studies to demonstrate your proposal.


About you:

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years experience and likely come from a consulting background and possess strong strategic sales experience.

You’ll have the ability to understand clients needs and adapt your suite of products to deliver tailored solutions.

Outstanding relationship building and client presentation skills are imperative in this role.

This role is a 12 month contract with the possibility of turning permanent in the future.


Salary:

$80k + Super (OTE $140k)
