National Volunteers Week launch – Tuesday, 15 May 2012
Some inspirational and motivating stories were shared at the National Volunteers Week launch on 15 May 2012. Hosted by Volunteering Australia and the National Australia Bank (NAB) who regularly contribute towards corporate voluntary initiatives, the event was attended by a broad section of the not-for-profit community who rely heavily on the voluntary contribution the public makes to their business.
Mathew Hehir and Gabrielle Forman from Artisan's Design and Government sectors attended the event to represent Artisan Recruitment, along with consultant Kevin Spendier who volunteered his time to Volunteering Australia by designing all of their launch materials.
Earlier in the year, Artisan had met with Volunteering Australia and established a partnership that would help them promote the organisation as well as their wider objectives. A series of posters, certificates, lapel pins, letter heads and web banner designers were provided to them, and were gratefully received.
This valuable relationship will surely see Artisan working in support of Volunteering Australia for years to come.
