Now Brisbane, you are being VERY spoilt this week, with an outstanding opportunity to see in the flesh, the work of one of Australasia’s most talented young fine Artists.

After attending more than one of Mark Alsweiler’s exhibitions back in his native New Zealand, the deal was sealed for me – the man has talent. It's with a raw authenticity and a sense of innocent insightfulness that Alsweiler's work stands out in a crowd.

Alsweiler is not only a top notch young creative, but also happens to be one of the most down to earth and gentle souls I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

His work for me, speaks youthful abandon, a healthy pinch of rock and roll, and altogether breeds an entirely new style in contemporary painting well worth taking a look at.

‘Living with the Living, Dying with the Dying’, is Mark’s latest exhibition, and will open on Thursday the the 5th of August, running until the 17th August at Nine Lives Gallery in the Valley.
