“One of the true jewels in the Pause Fest crown”, that’s how Pause describes the innovative new businesses that exhibit at their Startup Expo each year.
Not only that, but they also hail them as one of the key reasons that Pause has been given the status of the premier creative tech event in the Asia-Pacific region.
Seeing as this year’s festival theme was “#PauseDiscover – meet your future self” the expo focused on Australian startups marketing their technological inventions that are aiming to transform digital life.
With a selection of over 20 exciting startups exhibiting, there were plenty of awesome ideas to try and get your head around.
So, we decided to take a closer look at the three that really stood out to us. Here’s a brief insight...
This neat, portable colour digitiser is soon to become a designer’s best friend. It’s a device that fits in the palm of your hand and can capture the colour of any surface with just one tap. Watch their quick video to see exactly how it works!
These guys are all about ‘Immersive Architectural Visualisation’. Put simply that means they build a virtual reality so prospective home buyers can take a 3D tour around a property that hasn’t even been built yet. Incredible right?!
This company has developed a range of epic products that can turn your iPad into the ultimate piece of film-making kit. Providing you with the right lighting and audio quality to create great video content.
We think you’ll agree these are some pretty amazing ideas and we’re already looking forward to seeing the startup talent that'll pop up at Pause next year!
