Notoriously hard to please, and effortlessly chic Jenna Lewis gives us a brief run down on what our favorite Corporate and Government consultant found HOT at this years AGIdeas conference.

Sitting cross-legged and poised on her swivel chair, in a simple - yet fetching black smock and recently darkened tresses, Jenna’s gaze is fixed to her monitor. As I fire my way into the opening questions of this long awaited interview, I could swear Jenna was in a cyber world of own, digesting figures, spreadsheets and client details... then suddenly, in her signature style, Miss Lewis proved me wrong as she volunteered her clinical yet engaging tale of the morning session, day three, AGIdeas 2009.

Jenna chose to elaborate on her four favourite features from the morning, and once the ice as broken between us – Jenna candidly rated each speaker on an enjoyment scale of one to ten.

Starting with the Melbourne based pair behind the cult ‘Fashion, Music, Art and Attitude Magazine’ - ‘Monsters Children’, Jenna described the speakers with an air of warmth and familiarity.

“Monsters Children (duo Campbell Milligan and Chris Sear) were hot”, Jenna digressed. “They did everything they weren’t supposed to do, and pushed the boundaries in a way that others (in their industry) wouldn’t. They are unconventional. These guys are successful despite criticism. For example – they drew a barcode onto the back of the magazine instead of printing it. They don’t slot into Society’s ideal of ‘appropriateness’ (a much favoured catch phrase of Lewis’s). A seven out of ten”.

The AGIdeas official book describes Monster’s Children founders as ‘Romantic, yet cynical; smart, yet unsophisticated; Stubborn, yet super excitable’.

Next up on Lewis’s list was Swiss Print Designer - Werner Jeker. World renowned for his simplistic yet beautiful posters, the AGIdeas book explains that Jeker’s posters were ‘A Classic example of Swiss Graphic Design, technically perfect and meticulously put together’. The Craftsman behind such iconic certainly managed to leave an impact on Lewis.

“He was hilarious! A very personable character, and animated in his presentations.” Lewis gushed, “he did very conceptual installation designs and posters. Quicktime films of convicts and prison crime scenes, as well as photographs. A ten out of ten”

Then it was on to the young Australian who has quickly risen to fame following three years at a US Illustration Academy. Eeley has been responsible for brilliantly surreal caricatures of celebrities, Cover illustrations for International magazines, commercials and billboards. “...Robin is Hot. He’s a fine artist, from Adelaide ... an amazing illustrator of influential people,” Lewis explained. “A nine out of ten.”

And finally, just as began to conclude our interview, Lewis assured there was one more speaker that captivated her beyond expectations – Brand Protection Lawyer to the Creatives – Trevor Choy. Choy originates form an Advertisement managerial role, now advising Creatives in the realm of Intellectual Property Law, and manages various Multinational’s requirements. “ I found (his talk) so rich....and insightful. Really interesting, an eight out of ten. Choy left my colleague and I wondering whether we should start dating Creative Lawyers...” Lewis concluded.
